This week, in the forums
When not composing amusing poetry, our members are creating their own supergroups and defining the very epitome of the stylish mofo. Nuclear bunkers appear to be a recurring theme, though this time they’re concerning themselves with furnishing it instead of sexing it up. We’ll refrain from mentioning a certain member’s ill-advised photographic session. Ooops.
We’re also celebrating our 1000th member who was awaited with eager anticipation over many days, because we have nothing better to do. CTF management underwhelmed everyone by offering a solitary peanut to the lucky no.1000 though popular consensus is that they should think themselves fortunate that was all they were offered.
In Words & Pictures, we’ve been making our eyes go a bit funny and even managed to squeeze a few haikus out of our overheated creative sides. Oh, and don’t forget the November photo competition whose theme is ‘Industrial Spaces’.
Over in Serious Chat, we’ve been debating the BNP membership list leak, the clampdown on prostitution and having a poll on how long it really takes to get a doctor’s appointment without being interrogated about one’s embarrassing ailments by a receptionist. Polar bears are also high on our list of priorities.
Things are considerably more refined this week in the film and TV forums, with debates about films made from comic books and ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here’ which no self-respecting forum should be without.
Finally, in the food forum, the CTF Good Pub Guide has joined the CTF Good Food Guide so you can at least now have a pint with your chicken in a basket. Add your recommendations!
