Some Brexit

Do you have difficulty sustaining your election?

This is a long but tremendous thread of videos of Brexiteers telling us, pre referendum, just how easy a free trade agreement would be.

I can’t see the Piers Morgan tweet he quotes because Piers blocked me.

Kudos.

There was something on social media yesterday (I can't find it now) where Morgan had Tweeted something about Brexit and somebody absolutely ripped him apart with a string of replies showing just how stupid his comment was.

ETA: Found it, https://twitter.com/EmporersNewC/status/1113547733300842497

ETAA: Soz Teeks, didn't click on your link before commenting so didn't realise I was posting the same thing. >taps head<

His quote is

Nicola Sturgeon:

It's an outrage to ignore the 60% of Scots who voted to remain.

No problem ignoring the 55% who told her to shove her independence up her bum though and keep going on about indy ref 2

But that 55% haven't been ignored. Their wish has been taken into account and acted on. Scotchland is still part of the UK.

Now that the Queen has signed Cooper's Brexit bill into law the headbangers in the Daily Mail comments section are calling for her - the Queen - to be tried for high treason. Apparently they will not stand for such illegality, dontcha know.

It's a shitshow of astonishing magnitude, isn't it?

In the midst of all this airborne dung, Yvette Cooper and Keir Starmer are looking good right now, don't you think?

PREDICTION! One of them will be Labour leader before 2019 is out.

Be nice, but Momentum has its claws into Labour so deeply that there's no chance.

The Daily Mail comment contributors need to be marched onto a sun rocket, toot sweet.

Upside: millions of ruddy old men are furious this morning. Again.

Downside: we’ll be seeing even more of Farage’s face as the elite grifter goes for another MEP election.

Actually it’s Mark Francois’ face that I’m most fed up of recently. Who the fcuk is he? He’s suddenly appeared as the new gobshite for Brexit, this week threatening to be a trojan horse within the EU parliament by vetoing everything. “Give us a great deal otherwise we’ll be snakes”

He looks like the sales director from a packaging factory from Hull. I bet his browser history is grotesque.

This is the sort of thing (pinched from the Beeb) that irritates the fcuk out of me:

Image

"Stand up to Europe", "start all over again on Brexit". What sort of delusional nonsense fills the vacuum of such a person's mind?

We start all over again. How will that work, exactly?

"We're tearing up the WA and want to negotiate a new deal".

"Fine. You can put the WA in the bin and start on a new deal. Here's our opening gambit. Get the WA out of the bin, and sign it. That's the deal we're prepared to agree. Oh, and when we said "opening gambit", we also meant "final position". Over to you".

"Well, you can say that, but I am now going to Stand Up To You, you filthy foreigner with your garlic infested ways! See this hankerchief? It's a Union Jack. And that means something in this day and age, let me tell you. And see that briefcase of mine over there? Well I've got a British bulldog in it which I'm prepared to get out if need be".

"Just sign the WA and stop wasting our continental time please".

"Harumpf! I'm quite prepared to walk away with no deal you know"

"Go on then. We're past caring. See how good a no deal Brexit is for you. It's won't be great for us, but it will be total merde for you. With a side of scheisse".

"Now steady on, I didn't say I'd actually walk away with no deal. I just want us all to use a bit of common sense".

"Ooh do ferrrk oerfff".

Etc.

It boggles. She's presumably not completely thick, because she did law at Oxford, after which she managed to be a lawyer and then a director at PwC and Ernst & Young.

In July 2017, Morris faced calls for the Conservative whip to be withdrawn from her after being recorded on a parliamentary panel using the racist idiom "nigger in the woodpile" to describe the threat of leaving the EU without a deal, at the launch of a report into the future for the UK's financial sector after Brexit

Oh. Ignore what I just said.

If she wants "no deal" then there is no need for someone to stand up to Europe. Just someone to ride rough-shod over the parliamentary votes on the spurious assumption that everyone who voted Leave wanted no-deal brexit like she did

Laugh

Did you see that EU have recently voted to abolish the clocks going forward/back?

Will we capitulate to the evil EU overlords or, now that we can make our own laws, will we be daft enough to use our parliamentary sovereignty and keep moving them forward/back every 6mths which would result in London being an our ahead (behind?) Dublin for half the year?

On that subject I learned recently that China has one time zone. Geographically it spans 5 time zones but those crazy dictators say Beijing time is the only one that matters.

That would be like having the same time in London and New York.
