Anything is possible if you just ignore reality Strawms. My stepdad says that we will make the US negotiate a trade deal in sectoral stages so they can’t use leverage in one area to force us to give ground in another. When it’s pointed out that that isn’t how trade negotiations work he says “Pfft” and goes back to reading the Daily Mail.

It's still fuckloads better than Charles de Gaulle or Orly for EU transfers though. But you're right it can be a bit of a hike, when I was working in Budapest, I'd land in a field a kms from Schipol, get on the bus drive to the airport, walk what seemed to be the length of the airport snort a quick coffee, get on a bus and drive out to the same fcuking plane and then fly to Hungary.

Sorry, I know it's not fashionable to talk about Brexit these days, but it is still going on in the background.

This letter from the UK chief negotiator to his EU counterpart is well worth a read - it's the first evidence of the UK being rational, detailed and competent. Perhaps this has been going on all along?
