Width wise or lengthwise? Do you think you wouldn't be able to move your toes?

I do have wide feet and they do look roomy.

Just not sure I suit a brogue style.

I've had no luck with boots recently.

I was on a night out about a month or so ago and both the soles fell off my boots, causing me to slip and fall over twice trying to get home...

Then walking home from work a couple of weeks ago, this happened:

So I have a new pair of boots:

Hopefully these won't fall apart.

How much do you pay for your boots, my last three pairs were all around £130.

I really don't want to spend more than that, and feel that should be enough to not have them fall apart.

I tend not to spend more than about £100 a pair, but try to get things that have been reduced to around that price.

But the last couple of pairs I've bought have been motorcycle-armoured, so not necessarily representative. xxxx I've got some of these which I was wearing when I fell over in the road, and apart from some surface scraping they're absolutely intact:

You must walk in an extremely odd way for heels to fall off/apart. Or heavy

All my shoes and slippers wear at the heels very quickly.

I dunno why, I don't think I walk weird.

But that's ok, isn't it, as long as you moonwalk everywhere.

So is £100 considered the limit above which shoes should not fall apart?

Because mine cost £110 and they fell apart and that was like 110 ten-year-old pounds, not modern ones. The soles fell off so I glued them back on with polyurethane sealant and then the bit the sealant was gluing onto came apart so I glued them again and they were OK for a couple of years and then this year the same thing happened again and now they're really heavy because there's nearly a whole cartridge of polyurethane in each one.

You should consider cutting out the middle man and just encasing your feet in the sealant.

Be kind of awkward, it takes several days to set properly so I'd have to go crawling around on my hands and knees trying to remember not to stand up in case I stuck to the floor.

I get emails from clothing companies that seem to think I'm far younger than I am. Today I was invited to enter a draw, the winners get the opportunity to buy these for £200

From the latest collaboration between END. and American sportswear legends, New Balance, this sumptuous iteration of the 997 sneaker takes inspiration from ornate Persian rugs – an interpretation of their historical design lines this pair.

I actually quite like them, just not at £200.

It's the blue detailing. Abhorrent against the red/cream combo.

I’ve just spent £110 on a pair of Redback boots. They’re Australian and I have high hopes for them. Steel toecaps so I can wear them for work but nice enough that they don’t feel just like work boots, unlike my last pair of Dickies boots which fell apart and started leaking rather quickly.

They remind me of a pair of Blundstones I had thirty years ago.
