What projector ?

Post by DI Burnside @ Thu May 21, 2020 1:12 pm

The kids want a projector so they can hang a bedsheet up in the garden and watch films. I'd like to do it for them just to make lock down a bit less shit for them.

I think the plan would be to hook up one of their phones or laptops and stream something from Sky, Netflix, Prime, etc.

I don't want to spend a fortune but I want something not shit (despite it being projected onto a sheet in the garden).

A Chromecast and an HDMI port will sort the streaming arrangements. No idea on projectors though.

I bought this one for the kids when it was on offer at £59 and for the money it's really good.

ETA has speakers in it too, so it's ideal!

Spookily I was just talking to a neighbour and he bought one the other day, £100 and it includes a 100" screen, I'm waiting for him to send me a pic.

NSLMB has it setup in her room as it’s too windy outside at the minute, I have to say for the price it’s actually pretty good !
