I blame all MPs of all parties for failing to agree to any compromise

They had the chance to vote for another referendum. They didn't
They had the chance to vote for a fairly reasonable deal. They didn't

ETA

I also blame Corbyn for being a cnut
All the Remain politicians for running a crap campaign
Farage for being a lying smug cnut.

And others

The MP that just defected must be pretty sure of a GE not happening. 60% Tory seat with LD languishing at 7% last time.

Apparently listening to the doctor who called into the Jacob Rees Mogg show on LBC to ask how many deaths was he prepared to accept in order to get Brexit through was the last straw, the doctor was involved in writing the Governments yellowhammer report about the impacts of Brexit. JRM told him he was a remoaner and fear mongering, the government are currently stock piling bodybags FFS. Also I heard him interviewed on the radio today and he said his constituency was arguably narrowly remain now.

I’m not sure I agree Teeks. Maybe he’s had enough of being an MP anyway and just fancied giving Boris a kick in the bollocks on the way out.

I heard his interview on R4 today also. Was very interesting. It's curious how they give people like him or this morning Philip Hammond a relatively hard time but did not even begin to challenge, that lying shitbag Raab when he was interviewed. It's crazy how R4 and the Today program has become enthralled to the government and refuses to challenge their barefaced lies.

JRM is a despicable turd. I also heard that LBC exchange and despite his heirs and graces, JRM is at thick as pigshit and is a terrible liar as that Consultant Neurologist exposed. When exposed in such a way, his response is to insult rather than answer truthfully.

Actually from what I hear he’s a principled man so that’s probably true.

Qualified Dr too and has worked in places I’ve been to so he’s possibly fingered me. Can anyone else here say that an MP? Well?? Can they???

Well in the 80s and 90s they tended to do that to each other, but these days I suspect there are a fair few sex workers or small orphan boys who can lay claim to that honour...

I also hold Corbyn almost as responsible for his pisspoor effort in the referendum and his pigheadedness since.

21 or 22 Tories rebelled this evening. Will Johnson really give them all the heave-ho?

It is literally eye boggling to see how the usual PH goosesteppers are continuing to worship Boris after last night.

At this rate Boris won’t be able to get his motion for a GE passed, and even if the UK were to withdraw its A50 notice, the EU would say “no thanks - you’re a fcuking basket case we want nothing to do with any more”.

What a fcuking horlicks.

I just came to say the same. I couldn't believe the contemptuous smugness when I watched it last night, and when I just showed the clip to Mrs Thorn she it made her want to smack him in the face.

I’m surprised how angry JRM lounging has made the internet.

Of all the massive cnutery he has inflicted on the world, I feel like slouching is the least offensive. I’d slouch too tbh.

I believe they're finally making a comeback after the 80's but I think he never stopped wearing them.

It’s due to his massive cnutery that makes this minor shittery so annoying. Like a rapist that uses your toothbrush before leaving your house.

Boris Johnson retains his unblemished 100% failure to win a single parliamentary vote since becoming PM.

Dear me, this is falling apart spectacularly on all sides.

Boris’s track record in the Commons now outstrips May’s easily. He’s leading a minority (by quite a bit) Govt. But he can’t call a GE, because Corbyn and his party can’t settle on a single objective. The various other parties have different objectives. No deal might be off the table (maybe? Possibly?). There is no deal that anyone wants to sign up to, even though Boris says (covers elongating nose) that he is negotiating a new deal right now.

A GE, if it were to take place, would just be a proxy for a second ref without the clarity of a question and with the winner taking their mandate to mean whatever they want it to mean.

I wonder in what way it will get worse. Because sure as eggs are eggs, it will get worse.

Wouldn't it be smashing if BJ had to go back to the EU and ask (very unconvincingly) for an extension whilst flicking them the vees and they simply said (full of smiles) "yes, take as long as you like, we're going to leave it open ended!" Then, (sotto voce), added "pick the bones out of that one you cnut"

I would LOVE that soooooo much!
