Obama fourth ever black US president
Barack Obama has been elected president of the United States of America in an historic election race.
The Democratic senator is the fourth black man to be elected president after Morgan Freeman in Deep Impact, David Palmer in 24 and Jimmy Smits in the West Wing.
‘Most Americans believe that Morgan Freeman was the best black president because he had more gravitas,’ said a White House aide this morning. ‘David Palmer lost a lot of popularity after he allowed Jack Bauer to be kidnapped by the Chinese government.’
Republican rival John McCain is planning an appeal based on his belief that US voters don’t understand that Obama is a real-life politician and he only got the job because he is black. ‘It’s a farce,’ he said in a press conference. ‘The White House will be renamed the Black House before he’s even got his feet under the desk, you mark my words.’
The results of the election were announced this morning after Obama won the key states of Ohio and Pennsylvania. McCain got all the redneck states including Alabama and South Carolina. Black people all over America have been sought out for comment.
‘Mmmmhmmmm! You go, brother!’ said a black person today.
